As the world well known faux fur factory, we ship dozens of containers by sea to various countries around the world every month…

The level of sea freight directly affects the purchase cost of customers. 

Due to the impact of COVID-19 in 2020, from the second half of 2020 So far,

the ocean freight rates from China ports to differents international ports have been rising every month. 

After the Spring Festival in 2021, the ocean freight rates still keep on increasing to varying degrees, such as:

for the  goods of sherpa fleece fabric and long pile artificial fox fur which we had loaded 10 x 40" HQ and shipped to Karachi port for our Pakistan customers, 

in 2019, the sea freight is about USD600-800, but now it is around USD3000, about 4-5 times higher than before...

for the goods of soft velboa/ EF velboa/ crystal velboa fabric/ 40mm polyboa/ PV plush fabric which we had loaded 4 x 40" HQ to our Italy customers,  

in 2019, the sea freight is about USD1200-1500, but now it is around USD8000-10000, about 6-8 times higher than before...

for the  goods of long pile faux fox fur and faux dog fur fabric which we had loaded 6 x 40" HQ and shipped to Mumbia port for our India customers, in 2019,

the sea freight is about USD400-600

but now it is around USD2800-- USD3500, about 7 times higher than before...

as normally we quoted price based on FOB for above customers, so above sea-freight rising will not impact our cost and margin,

but it impact too much for our customers who buy faux fur goods from us, but fortunely, mainly of our customers are powerful in their market,

even under such hard situtation, they still keep on placing new orders with us...

for the  goods of micro fiber suede fabric and faux fur fabric  which we had loaded 2 x 40" HQ and shipped to Felixtowe port for our UK customers, in 2019,

the sea freight is about USD800-900

but now it is around USD6500-7500, about 8-9 times higher than before...

only for this UK customer,  we offered CIF price, when we explained this crazy increasing for the sea freight,

they understand our situation and agreed to add some extra parts of sea-freight USD2500-USD3000 on our  CIF price...

We hope that with the joint efforts of all countries around the world, we can get rid of COVID-19 as soon as possible, 

so that everything can return to normal so that we can continue to do business and serve our global customers smoothly...
